Headaches
Throbbing pain. A dull ache. Sudden pain or “brain freeze” after eating ice cream. Pain on the top of the head. As one of the most common pain conditions experienced worldwide, headaches can range from mildly uncomfortable to debilitating.
This common type of discomfort often causes absenteeism from school or work. Those who experience frequent head pain may find that their mental health is impacted as well in the form of anxiety or depression.
But don’t worry, we’ve got good news. At Commonwealth Family Chiropractic, our team has years of experience helping people just like you overcome head pain from a variety of causes. We look forward to the chance to help you get back to living your life without the worry of frequent headaches.

This type is related to another medical condition, including

How We Can Help
Evidence suggests that chiropractic adjustments can be an effective care option for tension headaches and ones that start in the neck, known as cervicogenic headaches.
Furthermore, while migraine headaches often have certain foods or other triggers, studies have also suggested that chiropractic can reduce the intensity and frequency of migraine headaches.
Following his examination and assessment, Dr. Eriksen will talk about your care plan and the type of technique that you may benefit from. We’ll go over the adjustment with you so you know what to expect. Often, we see patients experience relief from headaches in as little as one visit to a couple of weeks, though results vary depending on severity and frequency.
For twenty-five years, Dr. Eriksen has been helping people manage pain through natural, safe chiropractic care.
